Here are some areas I can help you with:
Feeling overwhelmed by life's many choices
Feeling sad or depressed, perhaps without knowing why
Having a difficult relationship with your family
Feeling anxious, overly worried and tense more often than not
Relationship issues, like a lack of trust between partners
Breaking old patterns of reacting instead of responding
Low self-esteem and wishing you could stand up for yourself more
Wanting to feel more alive and awake
Counseling is a relationship. Research has shown time and time again that the strongest factor in whether you will experience positive changes in your life through participating in therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client.
With that said, our relationship is fertile ground for us to explore how you are in relationship to yourself and others, what patterns are continuing to show up in your life, especially the ones that are no longer useful, and discover ways to foster and harness the positive aspects of yourself that bring out the best of you in relationship to yourself, significant others, career, family, and your future.
As a holistic practitioner, I seek to help you with all arenas of your life. Mental health does not only happen in our heads, it is a lived expression of wellness on many levels. We can talk about anything that is pressing on you in a way that creates stress, pain, and anguish. We can talk about your successes and the parts of your life that fulfill your dreams and desires. If it's relevant to you, it's relevant to your therapeutic process.
You can find my intake form under Expectations to let me know more about you before our first session or consultation.
